Get answers to common questions about Microdermabrasion Facial.

A typical session lasts 45 to 60 minutes, including consultation, cleansing, targeted microdermabrasion, and calming serums. Time varies with skin concerns and add-on treatments; your technician will recommend the ideal length during booking.

Most clients experience mild abrasion and tingling but not significant pain. Redness and sensitivity can last a few hours to a day; avoid heavy sun exposure and harsh products for several days to ensure proper healing and results.

For optimal improvement, we typically recommend four to six sessions spaced two to four weeks apart. Results and frequency depend on skin condition, so your esthetician will tailor a plan based on sensitivity, goals, and progress.

Microdermabrasion improves mild acne scarring and surface discoloration by promoting cell turnover, but deeper scars and stubborn pigmentation may require stronger procedures or combined therapies. Your technician will assess and recommend the best combination for visible improvement.

Not recommended for active rosacea, severe acne, open wounds, recent chemical peels, or those using high-strength retinoids without a washout period. Pregnant clients should consult their physician. A consultation identifies any contraindications prior to treatment.

Avoid sun exposure, wear broad-spectrum SPF, and skip active exfoliants or strong acids for several days. Use gentle cleansers, hydrating serums, and follow recommended moisturizers. If irritation or prolonged redness occurs, contact your technician for guidance.
